The day starts off with a buffet lunch at Jose’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina at 1100  and the visit to the EMA facility begins at 1300. You may attend one or both. The Mexican buffet of enchiladas, tacos and burritos is $20.  Jose’s is located at 1134 Koko Head Avenue in Kaimuki. Take H-1 toward Kahala and  exit at Koko Head (exit 26A.) Turn left on Koko Head Ave at the light, Jose’s is on the left.   Metered parking is available behind the restaurant (bring quarters.)   There is a limit of 44 people for the Diamond Head visit, due to briefing room size,  so sign up early to insure a seat! We will depart Jose’s about 1230 and drive to the EMA facility inside Diamond Head.  If you are not joining us for lunch, as you exit the tunnel into the crater, take the first right turn and  drive up the road and park along the right side.
