Tour of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) at JBPHH, hosted by Col Brian Lewis, the J1. Time: 1000, please arrive by 0945 The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency was established on January 30, 2015, bringing together the former Defense Prisoner of War Missing Personnel Office (DPMO), the Joint Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Command (JPAC), and the Life Sciences Equipment Laboratory (LSEL). The mission is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation. Directions: DPAA is located in the new multistory building next to JBPHH Kuntz Gate, which is near the Federal Prison and airport. From Kuntz Ave, turn onto Halehaka St toward the flight line at the Bowling Alley then turn left on Kamakahi Rd and go past the Auto Hobby Shop to the end of the road to the parking lot. Go to the entrance near the flags. Following the tour, please plan to join the group for lunch at The Lanai at Mamala Bay (former Sam Choys.)
