MOAA President Lt Gen. Dana Atkins and his wife Laura will be in town for the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and he has agreed to join us for lunch on Tuesday, 6 December. This is a really special opportunity to hear about all the things MOAA is doing to ensure that our military forces are the best they can be and for Gen Atkins to get acquainted with our Hawaii Aloha Chapter and get our input on MOAA and national security issues. I hope each of you, and your spouse, will join us on 6 Dec at the Wright Brothers Cafe and Grille next to the Hickam Club. We will start at 1030 with a social hour outside on the Daedalian Room lanai next to the cafe, overlooking the picturesque channel into Pearl Harbor. At 1120, everyone will move to the cafe to buy lunch and take it to the Daedalian Room to eat as a group. General Atkins will begin his presentation about 1215 and the event should be over by 1300.
